I got a temp Custody order today

OK for anyone who cares, yea those who don't save it.

I have been fighting to keep my kids with me as much as possible with of course allowing their dad to see them a fair amout of time. Yes he has pulled disappearing stunts, and has slowly improved his dependability towards making a commitment to see his children. This believe it or not makes me happy. Children need their dad. But he has been guilty of dumping kids on his mother and his g/f. Both of who are satisfactory babysitters to me. But my argument has been they need to spend time with him. I have tried many different arrangements but he is forever finding a problem with it.

So anyway conciliation today. He says I want kids one more night. I said no. I will rearrange schedule again to work with your rotating schedule so that you are taking full advantage of those days and I will give you one weekend and plus one day on on another weekend. No he wants kids more days - even if he is working a 12 hour PM shift. SO yes at this point we are going in circles. He won't agree I made three concessions - still none on his end. Go out for a break. He calls my attorney for a discussion. Guess what that was all about. Yep - He agrees to sign with the current schedule and one weekend a month if I give him the child support as if he had them 40 percent of the time. My attorney advises against it.

I say sign it! Everybody is mad at me except of course the ex who actually calls to thank me. I told him he disgusts me - but he got what he wanted "his money" I got what I wanted my kids. So just drop it.

But it just left a really bad taste in my mouth - about him! I knew he was an ass but I watched him sign his children away today -he didn't want to be with them - he just wanted to get more money in his pocket.

yet another follow up call. he has conceeded to now after babysitting fees and college funds that only leave you 80 dollars for the kids. yep! but I should be grateful cause now he can pay for his new g/f's son's braces?? How messed up is that????
