i confess, i like a saturn product.... ALOT
Hot damn, maybe I'm an idiot but I'm more then impressed with the Saturn SKY! THe fit and finish of that thing is freakin awesome and the styling is killer. I'm rarely that impressed, this car really shocks me. Saturn really stepped up to the plate with this one. With the redline version you get 260 horses in that lil car with the help of a turbo. i wonder if theres mods yet? The car stickers in the 20's. If i was in the market for a 2 seater sports car in that 20 something to low 30 price range, this would be the car hands down. Fuck the s2000 and 350z. Rich guys also put ls2's in this thing. I wanna drive it, does anyone know here if saturn dealers are hardasses about driving this thing? I know that they have no haggle sales people, its been my understand that they dont fuck with people at saturn retailers. Whats everyones opinion of this car?

Black- 2000 Camaro Z28
My parents have a solstice, Pontiac version of sky, and it is small gutless, and gets the same gas mileage as my camaro. Their is no leg room at all, the driver has to have his feet on the pedals all the time. If I could get my old man to drop 20k into a mallet cars converion with the ls2, then it would be another story, but till then I won't like it. oh yeah, its all steel, except the bumpers, so its pretty heavy.

i also really like the looks of the saturn sky. there are few companies out there that will swap a smallblock lsx in...ls1, ls6, or as someone posted up above here now the ls2 into the solstice so i don't see why they wouldn't do the swap into the sky as well. they've got different levels of the packages and one of them has something like...500 horse or something like that. that's a ton of power for a short, light car like that.

Yep, ever since the solstice came out i fuckin fell right in love with the sky, it is so much more aggressive than the solstice, and i believe it actually stickers for MORE than the solstice, but to me, the look is worth the price.

White/Black- 1999 Z28
I like the Saturn version (Sky) MUCH better than the Pontiac version (Solstice)
I think it'd be a nice little car, especially if you threw an LSX in there.

09 EclipseGT 75 Chevy 4x4- 2001 Trans-Am 13 F-XT
If I get time next week I'm going to take a Sky Redline for a ride. I was driving through and a sales guy was bugging me and we were talking about it and he asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin, but I didn't have any time then. So I'll be taking one out. It seems that Saturn dealers will let you drive anything without giving you much crap. I've heard of people getting them into the 12's already with a few mods so it sounds like they starting to get parts out for them. I had a S2000 so I'm curious to see how this will compare to it.
