I can do something right
Nothing big but feel like bragging a lil bit like I normally do
I make Apple Pie liquor (3rd year doing it) and just had a buddy take a bottle to Country USA/camp party here in WI and it was the talk of the town (so to say) He put my bottle up against four other people who make apple pie and 1 person with a nationally recognized bottle and mine won hands down. Every single person that tasted mine, pronounced mine the best Wish I could make it for a living but that won't happen due to cash to start up a liqour company but still nice to know I can do something better then most
Brag over┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐

Start small, and you can sell it.
We buy most of our wine from a local winery and it's hands down better than that garbage you buy in stores.
They don't make a killing but they sell right out/off their farm.
They even have a tasting room..

Could look into it but my gut says it would be more money then I think.
Realistically I would guess $25000........at least there is always people willing to booze it up in time of economic stress

they call it apple jack here.....I've never drank it because I'm not a hard liquor person but I know some friends of mine that pay $20 a quart for it. There's probably some money to be made on the side there if you wanted to just have some cash to play with.

My boss makes his own wine and beer. He's won 1st place down at the Indy fair in beer competitions before. What liquor is in that?

you cook it with a stick of cinnamon in it? Pretty sure that's what these guys do. At least the jar has a stick of cinnamon in it. I've sipped it and it's not bad.....I still prefer beer though. A lot less likely chance of me beating the shit out of someone or getting the shit beat out of me if I just stick with beer.

I use cinnamon but don't leave it in the jar because I have found that it becomes too cinnamon for most people's tastes. I got the recipe from a cop around town and have modded it every batch til I find it perfect (Never happen)
I would gladly ship a bottle to someone (Lie to Fedex/UPS) for my costs covered but then I'm breaking LS1.com rules because I'm not a sponsor or should be selling something on here. Not my reason for the post

I can make it strong for more of a kick but I've found that making it a dessert drink is better for most. Nice to be having a few beers/mixed drinks and take a shot here or there for a nice refreshing drink. Here is a pic

I'm all sold out now but making another batch before the 4th of July. I would like to have some buddy in this board try it and confirm its tasty factor. Rough guess but I'd say $5 to ship maybe

just a heads up but I would delete those posts. Do you realize how illegal it is to manufacture and sell booze then ship it across state lines??? They used to have a term for it.....it was called bootlegging. Maybe Jeff will step in and enlighten you on the penalties for bootlegging liquor.

I would love for Jeff to chime in so I can become more fluent with the law. From my understanding (Which I could be TOTALLY wrong) is that I paid sales tax on all of the items and as long as I'm not shipping to a dry county then I should be fine. I know that UPS/Fed Ex have policies which forbid alcohol from being shipped but you can get around that
Only thing I could see being illegal is that I'm not charging sales tax on each bottle so Uncle Sam doesn't get their greedy little hands on everything.
But like I said, I could be totally wrong

I would think that once you mix the alcohol with anything else and bottle that it would be considered manufacturing. The guys that make shine aren't getting in trouble for owning corn and copper pipes.....it's the manufacturing and transportation that get them in trouble. Same as brandy.
