got me a Tikka T3 Varmint in .308 lists for over $700 with a Bushnell Elite 4200 8x32 scope on it which list for about $560 ,and some custom stuff like a 25 M.O.A rail, bipod, and cheekpiece all for $600

very nice and I like your choice in the caliber, when I get back from Iraq I am actually going to buy a ar-15 and have it chambered to a .308. Of course it is going to be the m4 style, with some acog sites, I also have an attachable surefire light with a pressure switch that attachs to the bipod gangster grip.

yes i did enjoy it ,and i was giving my wife a hard time,i took the rifle and put it in her spot on the bed last night and said goodnight(she didnt like that)

yea i want an ar-10 but i prefer my ar-15 for that kinda stuff just because of the price of ammo

the guy i got it from must have been really desperate to get his custom rifle finished cause there is no way i woulda let it go for $600

no protection and no lube(just the way i like it)lol

i already loaded up my own bullets for it,didnt do to bad for just throwing together plinking loads

out of 48 shots this morning i only missed 8 times at 550yds and 3 were bringing it down because the rifle was peviously sighted in with 168 grainers and i had 150 grainers ,and the rest were just me being a little shaky trying to get the 4" plate at that distance

all in all i am really happy with that purchase

i have 250rds of 168 grain competiton bullets, so now i have to load some test groups so i can see what she likes best
