    I angered the GM Gods

Well i bought another pickup but its not a chevy.

    I bought a 1997 Ford Ranger 4 cyc 5 speed
It has 155k on the clock. There is no rust and the overal shape of the truck is great. It is inspected in PA for 1 year which is great.

Now the best part is that it only cost me $500.00

This is the first non 8 cyclinder I have ever owned. It is the second non GM car I have ever owned. I'm hoping to get a couple of months out of it just to save gas over my current daily driver of a 85 c-10.

I'll post picks up as soon as i can find my damn cable to do so.

Don't let anyone tell you the 4cyl is a piece of crap. I sold my 95 2.3L 5spd Ranger for 1500 (like you see in the pic) with 155k miles on it. It was a VERY dependable truck, it never left me hangin'. If you need any info on it let me know

Thanks for the confidence in my purchase I don't plan on doing any modifications to the truck except putting my stereo in from my other truck. Its just a d/d and I can still pick up the bullshit i need to.

Your 2.3 can be turned into a monster if you have the time/$$$.

The Thunderbird Turbocoupe stuff swaps onto your engine nicely.

The Tbird turbo coupe engine swap is a direct bolt-in, however, you have to retain the wiringharness and computer from the TC. There was also an issue with clutches too, but I believe that was easily resolved as well. Buut you don't plan to do any of this so whats it matter? I was gonna put an 87 TC motor into my ranger, but I didnt. 250$ for the parts car and whatever i wanted off of it, just had to return what i didnt use to the guy who had it.

You bet. Mine had 4.10 gears, 7.5" ford rearend, open diff, dana 28/35 hybrid front axle (trash). However, the hybrid front was lighter than the 35, but it held up to me beating on it.

I've only seen one before and that was a first generation one. Figured it was an option that didn't last long

I've got a '94 B4000 4x4 with 115k on it. Never had a single issue other than tune ups. I love that little truck and would keep it forever if it could tow more.
