I am kinda sad but really happy !

Well since I am trying to live right I have been asking God to help me never race again or speed. So far done pretty good except a few mess ups.

Today I was on the interstate and a 350z comes rolling by me. I wanted to jump on it but kept the speed limit overcame the temptation. On my way back from playing Racquetball back I got back on the interstate and a SRT-4 gets behind me. I really really wanted to smoke him but I pulled over a lane kept the speed limit and let him go on. Overcome the temptation again. About 30 minutes later I was going thru town and here comes a 1985ish Mustang GT that sounds pretty good no doubt had some mods. Now this was a tough one. We played a little cat and mouse just driving by each other, no motor revs or kickin it. My body cringed so bad I thought I would burst. I did pull it in low and let him hear the exaust pretty good lol. We went a few miles kinda side by side, Finally he turned off at a red light and I fought that temptation off.

Does anybody else fight like this not to race ???? You can leave out the poke fun at Jesus comments not trying to make this a Jesus thread.

The reason I am kinda sad is cause I REALLY LOVE SPEED. But speeding/racing is stupid, kills people, tears your car up, can end u up in jail and ruin your life

I try to hold the racing to the track. Having Firebird close by with it's almost weekly Friday night drags helps. I do occasionally get involved in a little street joust but never in traffic. Most times I just ignore the challenge. Like you said: It's dangerous and potentially tragic.

wrong ! .......read again.....its about dealing with the temptation of speed, and yes God is helping me. The thread is not about just God, bible etc.....if you are 100% anti-God then there are lots of different other threads to read besides mine

I may be intolerant of all of the jesus posts but jesusfan does have the right to post about it in the end. I do however feel that taking personal attacks on him is kinda harsh.

thank you .......its not like I invade other peoples threads and preach to them and this one is about speed/racing I am sorry if it offends people that I post that God is helping me just telling the facts
