Hypothetically??????

If I were to be driving along at about 45 and a deer pop out in front of me I miss the deer but in doing so slam the gear shift into first causing engine faluire bent valves and or worse. Would my insurance cover it under a no fault comprehensive claim?

best insurence advice.. if a deer pops out.. hit it. because if you hit something else your held reliable. trust me State Farm told me that cuz i missed and hit a stop sign.. but idk about engine problems.

Ask your insurance provider. I don't think they'd deny an evasive maneuver to avoid having an accident.

Be careful, you might be better off saying it was stolen and then got it back with engine problems.

Do it right though, get rid of the car, then file a police report and let them find it.

It has already been towed to the shop called it in to GEICO got a claim number they will contact me tommorow. That is actually what happened though I didn't think to get a police report about it because there was nothing to report. So far the tow was free (cell provider) lets see how it turns out.

I don't know about that one, but if i had to guess i would say they wont cover it.
