    Hurricane Sandy

So NY is getting slammed by a cat 1. All the power is out so a bunch of my friends got together and we're all keeping each other company. We invited a few well known celebs to join us and they actually showed up. Jack Daniels and Jameson are both here and so are absolut and jager. Filling in the conversations are budweisers. Sometimes the best night are the worst. Good people good drink good fun and no tv or video games or computers to get in the way.

Yes I'm posting on ls1 on my phone.... Which is about to die. Just wanted to share the joys of this disaster.

I didn't think it was a hurricane any longer? Still sounds like one hell of a storm!

New York and New Jersey declared major disaster areas. FEMA moving in to help. Bridges and tunnels closed, nobody allowed on the roads unless it is an emergency. Millions are without power. Holy Shit what a storm.

I got hit by Sandy but luckily nothing bad, I didn't lose power. One of my neighbors had a tree smash their car. I feel bad for those who got the worst of it.

Looks like the perfect jet ski weather. Reminds me of skiing and snowmobiling in Blizzards, no better way to do either of them. I hope all the members cars are staying dry and safe!

I think snowmobiling in a blizzard is a bit less dangerous than jet-skiing in the ocean during one of the biggest storms recorded. If it starts to snow to hard or your wreck your sled you get off and walk(hopefully), if you start to get blown around on a jetski or wreck it you most likely drown in the 30ft waves.

We had more wind than rain. We got let out of work around 12:30 yesterday. Since we don't really have many trees on our street, we don't have many branches lying around. Just lots of leaves. Felt more like a windstorm than a hurricane IMO.

The left coast? From where I am sitting right now the Atlantic is on my left.

In other news Sandy is causing Lake MI to have 15ft waves. And this wind will be F$%^ing up my trap shooting tomorrow. Sandy you are a B$%^&.

Not saying the snowmobiling is ranked in comparison by danger at all, just saying the conditions would be great for the best experience one could get. Not saying it isn't stupid either, but you just can't find that experience anytime or anywhere without having a great storm.

Yes, Lake MI waves are pretty steep.

All this wind has cleared all of the leaves in my front yard away. Glad I had my lawn cut short

Called my family again today to double check on them as they live in the Ocean City areas of south Jersey. My dad said this morning they had 81 mph winds still.
