It's just a promo for the English showing of the show. It's not a 'real' version of th entire show, just an imaginative way to promote it in Europe.

And I think the whole point is that the actors are supposed to be 'real people'. It would be a little difficult to find look-a-likes for yellow people with four fingers and 4 foot tall bright blue hair!

Are you guys missing the fact that it was just a promotion for the Simpson's on English TV????

You see guys, in Europe they have different rules in different countries. In the UK (England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales) they drive on the opposite side of the road to countries like Italy, Germany and France.

Hence, if Marge's car was built for sale in the UK, it would have the driver on the right and if Homer's car was built for sale in another part of Europe it would have the driver on the other side.

Again, does any of this really matter?

Can't you guys just take it as it's meant to be? I simple 'spoof' on the Simpsons?
