How to tell my girlfriend to lose weight

So my girlfriend has gained some weight. She's not fat by any means, yet it's equally unacceptable. So far I've stopped replying positively when she says "I'm fat" or whatever, ask her each day if she's gone to the gym, laugh at her bad food/diet choices, etc. However it's not working. One time I even agreed with her when she did one of those girlish "boohoo I'm fat" things and that didn't go over well.

I need some suggestions on how to tell her without her getting pissed.

How about asking her to workout with you? This way its encouraging her to work out and it doubles as something you do as a couple.

Tell her just because she is out of High school now and no longer doing sports doesn't mean she can stop exercising. Or get used to being the looker in the relationship.

Thinking about it, we all have different opinions of fat. I'd tell you my definition of it, but the girls on here would kill me. So I think we need pics or a better descript. Height, waste, and weight. I need to know if we need to get you out of this relationship and trade up.
