How much will my insurance go up?
I should say how much shoudl my insurance sky rocket and here is why...and this is very depressing. I have had my Z28 since February, but the last 2 months have been bad. One speeding ticket (42 in a 25) one red light ticket, and just an hour and a half ago...............EXHIBITION OF SPEED! Yes, the dreaded E.O.S. So....the cop seemed cool as I was honest with him about trying to get ahead of this ricer. I ended up spinning the tires at 30mph or so, causing some loss of traction and the loud flowmasters must have gotten his attention. So my two part question IS....
A. How much do you think my Insurance will go up if I am convicted of the eos, and how much would you guess if I am NOT convicted of eos, and it is downgraded to speeding?
B. What the fuck do I say in court? I imagine I wil have a court appointed lawyer maybe? I feel like a criminal guys! Any advice is appreciated. Thanks to all my Z28 brothers and sisters out there!

Sounds like me when I was 18. My insurance (AF) dropped me and put me on a high risk plan. I cleaned up my act after that. lol I just didn't get caught anymore.

Yes, definitely try to get it differed. Also, you can sign up for a weekend class (yes, it blows...been there done that when I was younger) to not get points on your record if you are worried about that.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
most insurance companies annually run mvr/dvr.
if you can get the state prosecutor to treat these tickets as non-moving violations your insurace will not be effected.
if the prosecutor does not, the citation will be reported (regardless of conviction or not) to your mvr/dvr and your rates will increase.
your statistic also raises rates for everyone... slow the fuck down... lol
btw each insurance company and state judicials system are different regarding the treatment and reporting.

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
Dude, are you going to call up your insurance company and tell them you've been a naughty boy? They will most likely not find out about it unless you lose your lisence.
I totalled my 02 Z, while still owing $18k on it. I got 5 points on my lisence(6 in PA is loss of lisence) They paid off the loan and my insurance went up $8.00 a month...
Chill son...

You need to take drastic measures here, by this I mean a show of good will and faith to the judge. I recommend donating the car used in the offence to a good charity and replacing it with a smart car equipped with a speed governor which in limited to 25MPH. You may also want to remove the seat belts from the smart car and install a sharp 6” steel spike to the center of the steering wheel as more proof you’ll stop driving like a dummy.
