1996 monte carlo 3.1L 133,000 miles
head gaskets, lim gaskets, water pump, ignition control module, ignition coil packs, blower motor, blower motor resistor, transmission rebuild, ball joints, starter, battery, front brake calipers. currently on my 3rd set of tires with 9 years of ownership. it needs new struts and strut mounts all the way around but i think i can hold off on it till next spring.
1999 camaro 5.7L 103,000 miles
starter, battery, new tires about 2,500 miles ago. not sure what was done to the vehicle before i got it at 89,000 but everything seems okay...*knock on wood*
2003 suzuki sv1000s 14,500 miles
water pump, water pump shaft seal, on my 2nd set of tires with 5 years of ownership...i think...
i'm not including things such as brake pads and rotors cause those are normal wearable things that one typically has to replace every couple years.

2009 Silverado Z71- 2003 Corvette MN6 Black
Christ, you musta got one of the bad ones.... My 1998 Monte Carlo LS never had any problems the whole time I drove it. 103,7xx to 143,xxx. The only thing I ever had to replace was the Battery Cable.
Nothing major on the Camaro (59,7xx), just painted the Battery Tray because it was rusting due to a crappy Walmart batteryLast edited by GoldenFlame; 11-14-2009 at 02:03 PM.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
74,xxx on the Camaro, no repairs in my time of owning it.
170,xxx on the Contour. I think you can only type 15,000 characters in one post. I would need 3 consecutive posts to list all its repairs.

not really. lower intake gaskets go out at about 75k-80k...mine lasted a bit longer than normal and i figured that since head gaskets usually go at about 150k that i'd just do them right away. battery and alternator...well...those just go bad after a while. the 4t60e trans usually goes around 120k depending on how it is treated...i beat mine up pretty bad and it went right on schedule. pretty much everything on the car has gone bad at the correct time interval. i would consider the one that you had a freak since nothing went wrong for 40k miles...especially after 100k. oh and i guess i did do the fuel pump once also at around 100k on the monte.

Won't even bother with the '72, but since we've had the '00 Formula: valve springs, exploded rocker (replaced all), many sensors, plugs, mandatory retune, leaking cutouts, loose rear brake brackets, tail light bulb, headlight bulb, cats for inspection and a free retune to fix their shitty initial one and to match the new cats, many things i'm forgetting i'm sure. 100k
