    How many members are Masons?

I was just wondering how many of our members belong to a Masonic Lodge?

I've thought about it. I don't know much about them though.

My dad was a Mason. I still have his Masonic trowel and hat, and some old, old photos in an album in my attic. He also belonged to the Moose and Elks Lodges and another one too, might have been Kiwanis or something like that. He was killed in 1962 so I don't remember a whole lot about the lodges since I was 11 at the time.

How did you become a member?

To be one you have to ask one. Not a lot can be spoken of it and I guess that is one reason I became one. My Uncle and a few of my buddies are so we done it together.

Tons of our forefathers have been one. Presidents, movie stars, and count less other people. Yeah it is very secretaive. The thing with it is you can read tons about it but you won't get someone to tell you if what you read is true.

My dad loved it when the Honeymooners had epsiodes about the Raccoon Lodge... I'm sure they were spoofing Lodges in general.

You will never meet a bad Mason. One of the main reasons I became one was the Shriners help out the kids.

Shriners! That's what the other lodge was that my dad belonged to. I couldn't remember it. He was a Shriner. I still have the fez.

My father is one. His father was one as well as his father. I will be joining in the near future as a fourth generation mason.
