I never mentioned being surrounded by idiots, just know far too many. And many idiots you have but no choice to associate with... Example being work and school... Also idiots your friends drag around with them, those are the worst. But! In forced situations such as work and school, usually that puts you in better with supervisors or instructors thus making you seem a better choice for promotions or projects

So the ratio of idiots versus the situation at any given time can determine how many idiots is just too much.

I dont really judge people too much, so you really have to prove it to me that you are an idiot. Then I forget about you, or make all kinds of excuses to assure myself that people cant be that fucking retarded. its less scary that way. Like the guy who contracted me to repair electic wiring underneath his house because rats chewed up and destroyed every scrap of exposed wire. Because he stored 75 5gallon buckets full of wheat under his house in the expectation that the world was going to end in the year 2000. This was the year 2005 or so. There were so many rat carcasses I had to empty a bucket of wheat they got in to to contain all the rat bodies.

I just tell myself that he didnt know enough about the topic of rats to store his shit properly or not to forget about it for 5 years, or when swarms of rats start taking over your house, and biting your feet while you sleep, that there is something seriously wrong that two dozen rat traps isnt going to fix.
