How to Install a Thule Cargo Box

Hey I have a 2010 Acadia and just got a Thule Cargo box (hard top) and there is not one pic or anything on how to put it on correctly anyone knows how to install one of this bad boys?

Just out of curiosity, why do you need one? An Acadia is huge. Most people I see driving around with those things on their cars have huge vehicles, with next to nothing inside them.

going on a day trip so it's me wife the kid and 3 bulldog's I have to put down the third row so all three have room. Keep in my bulldog's are 92 pounds 76 pounds and junior like 14 pounds. its weird because I got it together but there are these barracks on the bottom of the box so it keeps the box off the rail and there is a metal plate with foam on one day and that looks for safe i don't know....help?

Have fun with that vehicle its rated the 1 worst vehicle. we have one and had nothing but trouble were selling it this year to get something better

If you have a 2010 Acadia and don't like it, than it must suck to be you...the 2010 Acadia was rated 8.4 out of 10 so what are you smoking? I got my 2010 in Oct of 2009 and have no problems what so ever.... http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com...0/Performance/ I love this thing also this year it was rated number 4 out of mid-size SUV so lay of the crack ok and believe me WE have a lot of fun with it.....I think your Acadia just did not like you.....

Yea I got all parts str8 from GMC I was able to do the left to right rack.

Sometimes the thule stuff has universal "feet" that connect to the rails. Otherwise there are vehicle specific ones. Usually a piece of plastic that wraps the rail itself. Then a bolt goes up and through the box.
