how hard is it to get fired?? geez
why does it have to be so hard to get fired from a job?? i just asked my boss to fire me and find a replacement, he says he can find one to work for $8 an hour being dead serious about it for inventory controler, even though we only have 1,500 parts here, shipping and recieving and purchasing.
I show up late every day, wonder off for hours at a time, and dont care, and they still wont fire me, I just dont want to quit id rather get fired

I take it you don't plan on ever using them as a job reference? It's actually better to leave on your own terms then to be fired...especially if you ever want to do any kind of law enforcement.

Perhaps they think you will collect unemployment if they fire you.

If I was your employer, I'd start a paper trail on you and then fire you. Meaning, no unemployment or any school funding. In ten years we've never lost an unemployment case, and we don't intend on it.
Why don't you just turn in your two week's notice after finding another job. That's a much more respectable road to go down, other than looking to create a hand out.

I'll give you some advice. It probably won't be as relevant as its winter and you live up north, but anyway.
