I use big tupperware containers to store my ammo, and I label the caliber bullet on the top.

same here... we got a old vault door off a bank safe, and made a safe out of it. We set the thing in by crane when the house was being built.

Never had any problem with ammo stored on the closet shelf.
As long as it's dry I don't think it matters.

i have a sealed lock box that i got from a buddy on a rig

thousands of rounds in it so i hope it will work but i figured if it is air tight it should work just fine

another idea i had was to use my small shop refrigerator(unplugged of course) but i had this other box so i used it instead

hell yeah,i got my chl a few months ago and just a few weeks ago i missed my exit in dallas and took the next one only to end up in the worst neighborhood i have ever been in

lets just say i had one in the chamber and on my lap with my butt puckered,

i was in a dodge diesel truck carrying a nice first gen firebird right next to some of the scarriest folk

Yeah I agree. Should keep for a long time. I know I shot some 9mm that were old as Korean War recently. I am looking to buy a few thousand rounds of various types/sizes and was curious. I think Tupperware and some dry packs should keep them forever frankly.

i dont know shit about guns guys, you need to store ammo a special way other then obvious safety reasons, like for freshness? Does it shoot poorly or something if you dont?
