I would think that the crash test results would not be a huge difference just because of the skin. How much does that fiberglass exterior protect you? It chips, cracks and splinters. What's underneath the exterior is what could save your life.

No worries about car dings and scuffs. I bet washing that thing would be a bitch though. I wonder if they come machine washable.

I thought it was imply an increadibly amazing concept. For a car to change shape is simply unheard of. I see the future of high end cars.

I like the idea. I think it's been a long time in coming. I would buy one, I'm sick of paint (I have a black car).

yea, but you dont have to replace the whole covering of your car... Just get those panals repainted or if they are a pussy just buff it out.

Sanding, Painting, More Sanding, Clear Coat... No washing for 6 weeks...Paint Jobs SUCK...

Vid says 2 hrs to replace the skin. Quick and painless.

I wonder if you can purchase dif skins to change colors?
