    homemade o2 sims will they work?

    Just wanted to know your thoughts on this way to buy time till i actually get the car tuned after all the parts go in?

    If your just doing headers just don't run any in the rear and you'll be fine. Tuning will turn the light off. You need working front ones though.

    this will work, if you know your vehicle specific info...
    (resistance, wire colors, etc,)

    so in theory it will work if i knew the info i understand. So i shouldn't waste my time and just leave the o2 wires tied up till i finally get a tune

    U have to pass emisions? or just the looky-lou test?

    If the latter, just pull the bulb out of the dash...

    I made mine and they worked for about 3 weeks then burnt up. i have mine tuned out now, but if I had to do it again I'd try the sparkplug defoulers

    when you have your rear 02's deleted the computer is telling the front 02's that the rears are within the proper parameters thus causing it not to run to rich or lean. you can just the rear wires and bungs in to appear in operation.

    Use a higher watt resistor and it shouldn't burn up.

    yea, my 02 sims burned out also, i had a mail order tune done by frost, and he tunes them out
