at home work????
If anyone can help me with this that is cool. What I am trying to do is help a friend of mine who is single mother of 3 that can't really hold a steady job because she wants to be there for the kids. Her husband cheated on her and she booted his ass and now she is worried.
What I wanted to ask is anyone new of any at home jobs like in bill writing, medical transcript writing, or even insurance agents really anything. If you know of any if you could drop a few suggestions and what it reguires or some good spots to look for these jobs that are legit.
She is a good friend of mine and she is just struggling right now and I hate seeing her in this situation. So any help is appreciated.

Do a web search for at home jobs or something similar. If she is good at typing she can do transcription and there are many other things if she can do with PC from home like technical support.

She has been looking but like the internet there is 1 legit to every 1 million bogus ones. I have been helping her look and it is amazing how many scams there are out there.
If anyone knows a good site to look for this any help is appreciated and I owe that person a beer of their choice.

You can check you local hospital. They always have opening for transcript people. monster.com is usually a good source.

it can be a bit expensive but if she goes to get her local real estate license she can hook up with an agent in the area and be a referral agent for them.
All your friend has to do is make phone calls all day long calling people asking if they know of anyone looking to buy or sell their homes, call for sale by owners, call expired listings and if she gets anyone to agree to meet with her your friend just calls up the agent lets her do all the work and most agents will pay out 25 - 30 % of the commission for a good lead.
So lets say your friend knows someone looking to buy, call up realtor, realtor finds them a home for $400,000 assuming the buying agent makes 2.5% of the sale that is $10,000 usually the broker company takes a part of that I'll say 50% as a worse case scenario now your down to $5,000 so your friend at a minimum would make 1,250 - 1,500 just for making a phone call.

yeah all of those "work at home" deals are all scams IMO. hit up yard sales and try to sell some stuff on Ebay? dont know about insurance and all but maybe a home daycare? (if she can handle 3 kids by herself she could handle a house full) Thats a hard one but good luck

there is a company called americall(n/w Indiana towards munster/highland area)I believe they allow telemarketing calls,if she could tolerate this type of work from home. This would be something for her for now, until her luck changes...tell her to hang in there..it will be tough..but better days are coming!!

Actually I think we might be in the same boat!! We just had our first child & I really hate to have her go back to work, b/c then we have to worry about daycare & that such, plus she will be raised by someone else!! We really cant afford for her not to work, but I figured if she could bring home a little a month that would help out a bunch! I have been looking for a while now & haven't found much?? I'll keep my eyes out also!

She's in the same situation she has a 2, 9, 12 year old she doesn't want to have to put her in daycare because she doesn't want someone else raising her. She was a lab tech before, She went back to school a few years ago and got her masters in science. I have been looking for her to and if I see anything I will shoot the info your way to.

if she has a 12 & a 9 yr old. they should be in school, pretty much all day. and day care shouldn't be that expensive for the 2yr old. does she have family or something near by that can watch the little one? even if she can get a part time job. and if the Hubby was the father, she'll be collecting child support. that should help cover some daycare costs.
i have two kids, and i know day care can be expensive. but if she's making a decent amount, then it's worth it. but if she's only getting minimum wage, then it's a PIA.

She was stay at home mom with the kids, She moved from chicago to a town in wi. with a population of less than 500 and all her family is in chicago she moved away from chicago for the kids and her husband got transferred up there. Yes she recieves child support but owning a home sucks you dry because wis. is expensive as hell on taxes and utilies. There really isn't a place for daycare unless she drives 20 miles to find a good one. She is trying to go back to work with the hospital as a lab tech but they are not hiring. She is also trying to get into a clinic but no ones hiring.
She's trying but nothing is working up there for her right now that is why she is trying to find at home work.
