The joy of home ownership. Today I changed out 10 light fixtures. New home and ofcourse the builder gives the cheapest there is. I then spent over $100 on freakin light bulbs. I went with those energy efficient ones. Im still not done. I then put down a bag of weed and feed. I then started laying top soil down. I have some low spots were water sits a little. Tomorrow Im gonna do some track lighting in the kitchen. I then want to stain the fence. Man it never ends but the money sure does.

This is the 4th house Ive owned but I never really did anything to the others. Plan on staying in this one unless the market changes for the better. Im in a development but really wanted to find something with atleast 1-2 acres. We lost the house we were going to buy and needed something and this one was ready.

Coming home to your apartment and having no where to park because all the spots are full. Thus you have to park many blocks away and walk home. Thats worse

You used to be able to go to the post office and get a change of address packet. In it was a lowes 10% moving coupon. Also go to lowesmoving.com fill it out or have it sent to your friends address and get a coupon in the mail. Im there on a regular basis and found some great mark downs. The track lighting I just got was $179 down to $59.

We have one that the guidelines and pretty strict but appears know one follows it. Stuff like no flags in the front yard, no sheds, no parking in the street in front of the house.

They have the home depot version of that here. I also get thankyou network points with my credit card and get $100 gift certificates for there. works awesome seeing I never carry a balance and always pay with plastic.

I always get those Lowes $10 business coupons, spend $25 and save $10. I spend too much time/money at Lowe's as it is now

What I said before was refering to what happened to our neighbor at my parents house. Unfortunately I also have to deal with what you just described... I live in an apartment at college

I wish Lowes was closer to me. They are much better than Home Depot and Menards.

We don't have Menards around here, but Lowe's pretty much destroys home depot around here.

It sucks. It happens to me once a week, when I close at work and get home late. Thankfully, I only have a few more weeks of that shit to put up with, that and several other annoyances.

My apartment building is the furthest away from the main parking lot. We have a small ~12 space parking spot next to our building though, and I feel like I win the lottery whenever there's an open space just because the walk from the other lot sucks so bad
