I think that he did design it though. Maybe he will put in his .02 unless he ripped someone else off

Well, if sandman and Jason have a patent and they find out somehow that it is a redesign of their idea, they may have a case in court.

I'm not a lawyer but, as long as the original patent specifies that any new products with the "general" idea look or behavior of the original patent idea is copied, the copy cat would be liable.

On the other hand, the guy may be purchasing them from TSS and reselling them.

The LOTB badges are a prime example. He puchases them online from the company, and then resells them for whatever he/she can get out of them on ebay. They may take a loss on one or two but, they make up for it when the max bid outweighs the price that they purchased it for. Slick tactic.

Thanks for letting me ramble. I guess I like to provide help to people.

The guy only has the one for sale. Almost looks like he's parting out his car.

It looks like he had another one cause he took a pic with the identical one mounted. Because the one he is selling still has the adhesive.......

He's been advertising them for months, along with the LOTB badge kits.

The guy is always on there selling this stuff or other.

Here is what I'm talking about. This guy just relisted another one after he sold the other one today.

He'll make his money and then some. Here is the site he buys them from and then re-sells them and gets whatever works out the books.......lol.

Just FYI..............this is the guy that is selling the Ram Air boxes that are actually stock air boxes. Most of his pictures are from the top down, so you can't tell that it's a stock one. Looks like he just throws the Ram Air sticker on there and makes some good money selling as a real Ram air box.

Well, my thinking was that who ever this guy is... it does not look like he is manufacturing them himself and stealing designs. Seems to me that he'd have a lot more of them for sale at once.

But, The OP had me thinking that he thought that TSS were having their designs pirtated...

If he is buying low and selling high...that is the name of the game

I agree. Wish I could find something that everyone needs and very seldom finds. LOTB is one example but, that is pretty risky.
