Holly Sh#$%!!!!! Dynoed the cobra!!

I went ahead and dynoed my cobra today and it was a MUSTANG DYNO.

my car put down 370rwhp bone stock on mustang dyno and those guys told me that this ca can't be stock and they called a cobra guy to check the car and they checked the car like 10 mins and the guy confirmed that the car was bone stock.

He told me that normally the highest number he has seen on a stock cobra was 348ish rwhp since he has been in this bussines.
Then he calculated to to DYNOJET 407RWHP BONE STOCK!!!!!!!!!!!

They also told me that my motor is pretty heathly, which made me a lot happier!!

Great numbers.

But don't ever trust a calculated number as I have seen the exact same car make the exact same RWHP on a Mustang and a DynoJet.

no it isn't. the engine is stock, once you ad something like a BLOWER to it, it's no longer considered stock

dude, stock means, how the car came from the factory! it has nothing to do with blower.

Stock means as delivered from the factory with no modifications done. His car would not be stock if he put a smaller pulley or some bolt ons. But with nothing done, even WITH a blower... His car is stock. Jus the same as the Blue Devil z06 will be stock if it comes with a blower. Jus like all the supercharged 3.8s, jus like the sti and evo with the turbos etc.

The blower is put on at romeo niche line, the blower is made by Eaton automotive a big time oem supplier for things other then superchargers. Romeo niche line is at the Romeo engine plan where modular engines are made. Eaton also made the m90 supercharger on the thunderbird supercoupe, and the m62's on the GM 3.8s.

the ENGINE is stock. it was not altered with a blower or a turbo or a shot of nitrous.

ok, so if it's on the car from the factory it should be considered stock even thought the engine is completely altered when adding a blower.
