Red Fire- 2007 Mustang GT/CS
Hmm is this right ?
Is this a ton of mods for the return ?
This is a copy of a post from another Forum..
Here is one dyno run. The a/f is not on there. Im to post another one with the a/f.
I dont mind opinions. I would like to know what you guys think as far as accuracy and so forth so dont be afraid to say you dont beleive it.
I also would like to say that we did a lot of runs, tried a few things and i want to know what do you guys think is really possible. Do you think 425 is possible at the wheels at 6900 rpms.
Also with the pc in this car. Do you think it was possible to pick up hp on the baseline run for the first run on december 20 to this run due to the pcm relearning things???? If so how much would seem reasoable to you?
Right now the car is back to stock manifold so forth. The intake and some other mods will go back on next month for a full write up.
Anyway fire away.
Oh the mods are
127500 cams
livernios stage II heads
JPC custom intake manifold
Stock TB on this run
short belt bypassing only the power steering. The alt and water pump and
a/c are still hooked up. This was really to try and simulate underdrive pulleys and/or a electric water pump.
kooks long tubes catted x
delete plates
steeda cai with carbon fiber inlet
stock fuel system. we never did replace the injectors
stock driveshaft
stock flyhweel
18inch rims
4.10s
I may not even think of modding my car..
Or is this realistic for the mods..(Perhaps I miss my SS abit more now)
Cam(s), Heads, Custom Intake, Exhaust and Intake..
Am curious if this is reasonable..
Looking for honest opinions, but I understand some of you won't be able to resist the flame-age.

400 rwhp out of h/c/i and bolts out of only 281 cubes is not bad at all

Yeah I was looking for some opinions from this side of the Fence.. I heard the LS series engine really responds well to mods.. and having owned one for a few years I may have just spoiled myself..
Err. Yanno, I keep forgetting that I only have 281 cubes now...
Oh well, least it's not a Honduh.Last edited by Crimson Sin; 01-07-2009 at 03:49 PM. Reason: Err

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
A friend of mine did this with his 06 GT. That plus he put 4.10's in the rear and since the auto tranny didn't have enough OD for the hiway he sprang for a 6-speed tranny. It idles (almost) like a stocker, runs the LA freeways with ease and will flat blow the doors off of most other cars.

That's not mine..Yet.
Thats's from another Forum for us Mudstain guys about returns VS investment on mods etc.
Mine's still Bone Stock down to the paper temp plate on it. Just made my first payment..I saw FIRE in my wife's eyes when I said "Hey, Look at this for m....." I mean Satan would have turned tail and fled kinda look..
I am now in a holding pattern
Was just curious if that was a reasonable expectation on the parts.

Yeah that's the only thing I did right I think was get the manual..
I loved the Stalled A4 in my SS..
But after driving about 10 cars.. GTOs, Stangs, a vette and a few other unmentionables.. I came to the conclusion if I wasn't gonna flat out Drag it..
I wanted the fun of a manual.

Go with a Whipple or a Procharger. The Whipple will melt the tires off and the Procharger will rule at the drag strip!
Call Whipple and ask to speak to the owner, Art Whipple. He is a genius when it comes to these cars but he is a bit kookoo so watch out!
