Here is that track video I was working on....

    Enjoy.
Had some time, and had a decent amount of footage from this year, so I made a video.

Just for elevation...we tend to take a 1.0-1.2 seconds off.
Put into a DA calc I get 10.66 at 131.

Right lane was said to hook better this season.

    Eh...
I don't normally bracket race, so it doesn't matter.

But the two times I have...red lit or cut a terrible light.

    I did cut a 0.001 this season.

    4.11 with 27" tires.

I agree. Thinking about putting in a 4.30 over the winter.

working your reaction times usually ends you with a lower time... i don't care much about the light... i'm all about trying to leave the line and get a good 60' time... but i still can't figure out a good way to launch my car with out blowing up the rear...

    Great video... I am impressed.

As far as reaction times... They have absolutely nothing to do with eleapsed time as they are measured separately. Where in the beams a car stages can have an effect on ET as it will shorten or lengthen the rollout area.

You have a very quick car. I would suggest working on learning how to powershift as the granny shifting will not produce the best ET. At 117 the correlation would probably be 11.6s if you powershifted and had a decent sixty foot time. Corrected ET would be much lower but altitude affects both mph and ET so the loss in elapsed time is due to the launch and shifting.

Again, that was very fun to watch and makes me wish I were at the track right now. Thank you.

Powershifting....I know my T56 is on borrowed time, so I bitch shift it. I know it should be a bit quicker ET wise, but what is an 11.7 or 11.9. Still upper 11's.
