help with selling my car ...bank lost my title

i sold a car that i owed money on i told the buyer he would get the title when the bank gives it to me. the car was paid off right when his money cleared and title was sent but the bank lost the title and now its been two months and he doesnt have the title yet. he says he wants to sue me for this but i have no control on how fast the bank gets me the title. ive tryed everything to get his title faster.

what do you guys think????? i dont want to f@&k this guy.

Can't the DMV issue you another one? If you can find out where you would go if the original title was destroyed for some reason, you should be able to get another title.

4 to 8 weeks he doesnt want to wait that long plus i live in nc and the title is a ca title. tried

im talking to everyone the more information i have the better i am. but i talked to him today and hes calmed down and said hes not stressing for bad luck
