are you running the install from the g: drive? I assume that's a CD drive?

so running an install prog from D: drive (CD rom) u get an error trying to read g: drive? is there anywhere in the install setup where you typed in G: or a property file setting that is trying to pull resources from a "g: drive".. very unusual error.

i have not changed any settings it runs the install shield before the program executes and that is where it happens.

i just double click on autorun from the cd.

You can always try to map a G: drive to a folder and see if that'll work.

    1. Create a folder on your C: drive in windows explorer and name it something that would relate to the game name.
    2. right click on My Computer and click Map Drive.
    3. Pick G: from the drive letter list.
    4. Browse to the folder you created.
    5. Click finish.

Go and try to run the install again. It might work.

go to "My Computer", then Tools from the drop menu, then Map Network drive.. try to map a network folder or a flash memory card etc as G: drive.
see if it writes anything on that g: mapped drive.
also, another thing, if the contents on the CD is not that much like 200-300megs, copy all that to a c:temp folder and run it from c drive and see if it still asks for g: drive?
