help me prep car for road trip
Yea i'm going to take the z to the coast for the weekend, like a 3 hour drive, and i was wondering if you could help me with a list of things i need to make sure to do and tools to take with me in the event something happens.
i've already changed my oil and gave it a tune up.
my list so far is:
1) toolbox
2) air in spare tire
3) Jumper cables
4) Flashlight
and now my mind went blank. thanks

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
dude, 3 hours is NOTHING to these cars. I take mine on a 600 mile round trip once a month.

Dude, my car has been totally reliable over the years. Even with all the mods, I've had no issues at all. I wouldn't think twice about a (3) hour trip. Bring some good tunes, a women and plenty of $, you'll be fine

3 Hour road trip? That is not very far to sweat anything.
Just keep the speed to a sensible speed.
Hell, try driving across the country, San Diego to Denver, Denver to Baltimore, or Denver to Seattle, etc.
All in a little 67 Camaro. It is not bad at all. And can be damn fun when NO one is around.

just do a pre-trip inspection a few days ahead of time, you'll be good to go. Make sure all of your lights work, check the air in the tires, rotate the air in the tires as necessary , check your brakes, you know the drill. Basically just be smart about it, don't screw around and you'll be fine. Just go with the flow.

Beer. Lots of beer. Oh yeah and a Cops Suck Ass bumper sticker. Rolling papers, bong, big bag of weed.....take your license plates off....peel off any inspection stickers you may have on your windshield....knock a hole in your muffler........put a set of longhorns on your hood.....that'd be cool....get some shoe polish....white shoe polish...write The Spurs Suck That Ass on the back of your rear glass.....put a Mexican flag upside down somewhere on your car.....So your drive from San Antonio to the coast should be pleasant and uneventful....your welcome....
This is my signature. It is mine. Nobody else has one like it.
