Help me decide

I recently lost my Oakley half jackets. I had them 5 years. Anyway, upon research I kinda like the flakjackets and saw how you can customize them. I am maried and have 2 kids (15/18). Do you think the wife will get mad? Will she even notice the small writing? Does carbon fiber look gay or is it a good combo?

I am much too old for that wording on....well.....anything.
And....
If I wouldn't sport a CF hood on a car, sure as shit not putting it on my face.

Although the style of them is pretty badass.

looks ghey. there's no way that sunglasses are worth as much as oakleys sell for. walmart...shopko...$20 for polarized sunglasses that last me a couple of years and i wear them every day of the year so they get a ton of use.

i think that the most expensive pair of sunglasses i got were a set of ballistic polarized with foam backs around the eyes to prevent dirt from getting into my eyes...and they were still under $30. great for the motorcycle.

I had half jackets, then I got juliets. Love my juliets way way better.

agree with you completely the mold to your face perfectly only problem i had with mine is that they stretched to much but i didnt take the best care of them either. but i will buy another pair not in canada though there 450 up here and i pid 220 on ebay

Oakleys can be had way cheaper new on ebay, then in the store... I had a pair custom made for my Tran Am, I will dig a pic up latter.

I have half jackets, for years and years. Love them. My brother has the flak jackets, while I like the design, those frames have not held up good at all. I checked them out a few weeks ago, and they are 'peeling' everywhere.

Carbon fiber, Not my thing. I would go with a solid color.

The writing, That just looks cheesy to me.

Solid color, no writing, get what you like the best.

If the glasses fit and maximize your vision and if they're okay for someone your age and go with your clothing style, then yeah. They might look cool as part of a racer kind of aesthetic. No writing, please.
