Question Help!!! Ants taking over my truck!

Live on Oahu, Hawaii and I noticed a few ants in my truck a few days ago. This morning was driving to work and happened to look down and there were ants crawling all over my lap, dash, steering wheel, etc... I put some Terro w/ borax down and it killed some of them, but I am still noticing them. Hoping they will all be dead soon, but afraid of them infesting my truck and causing damage to my computer and relays.

    Any suggestions???

Set off a bug bomb in the truck at night and then in the morning, roll the windows down and go for a ride.

Ants got in my SS once and set off the alarm system, somehow. I had to bomb them.

Ant bait traps....clean out the area you park it in really good and spray bug/ant killer all around it. Put a picture of Orion in your truck. Here is the most recent one we have of him....

Call an Exterminator for advice, see what they have to say. If they have some kind of poison or edible shit, not a spray, see if you can buy some or something.

See if you can find some durasban(may be spelled dursban). A few drops will do. It is banned in most states don't know about hawaii.

Thanks guys! I thought about bombing my truck, but worried about what it will do the interior. I think I found the source of the ants. My truck is parked underneath a fruit tree. Problem is, I have no where else to park my 3500 Dodge. I sprayed all the cracks with ant spray and used some pepper on my carpets and seats. I also noticed when I turned on the A/C, a lot of them were blowing out from the vents. I sprayed ant spray in there also. Desperate.

    Here's what to do:

Get some stuff ready for a picnic, then drive several miles away. Find a good spot to have the picnic, then pull over and have the picnic near the truck. You know ants love to invade picnics, so once the word gets out to the colony in your truck they will all come out. Then leave quickly!

Dursban is not available to use anywhere in the US, mfr. lost their EPA regualtion number. There are a few things you could do to get rid of the ants. One method is ant bait. Baits are very effective if there is no other food source available. Another way would be to get yourself a can of CB-40, it's basically a pyrethrin based fogging material. Once sprayed close the doors/windows and let sit overnight. It will not leave any residue or bad smell once the material settles and dries (typically about 30-40 minutes depending on air flow, temp, etc.). I had to use it in one of my cars to kill ticks that the dog brought in last spring.
