    Help!

Okay, just found out that the WS6 I was talking about a few months ago is up for sale. It's a fully loaded m6 car, red, under 20k miles (about 18k I think), and has hardly seen a speck of dirt. Oh and I don't know the price yet, but I know it wouldn't be more than 17k cause that is what he paid for it. Problem is that I would have to get rid of my '69 to get it.

    So...I need some helpful opinions.

I did it, mine was a 69 chevelle SS as you already know. I don't regret it for a second. You lose the raw unrefined power feeling, but gain smooth reliable power with more potential and less tinkering to keep it running right.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

ew, hard decision. i'd keep the 69, unless you have no love for it [like you haven't bled, sweat and teared over it]

It depends how much you have into it, but IMO I'd keep your '69. I bought a '68 RS camaro 3 years ago and a '99 Z28 shortly after. After having both of them for 2 years, I deceided to get rid of the '99. For me, it wasn't a hard decision.

    Keep the 69. Really.

You will seriously regret it later on down the road when you see everyone and their mother driving a ls1, but some stand out kid cruising his 69 down the street.

the 69 will retain it's value, the newer car will not
just something to think about. that's one of the beauties of classic cars, their value will only go up (appreciate) or at least stay the same.
late model cars = depreciation big time

Maybe I could get a loan or something. Just found out the price is 15.5 and it has a brand new set of tires. Oh man, I mean this car is cherry. Leather even smells new

I understand what you are thinking though. When I was 20 I went through all sorts of cars. Mostly Pontiacs, but also Olds, Fords , Dodges . Big blocks small blocks. Just to see what was differint about them. I say go ahead and get it. Because if there is something you really want and dont get it you will always say. " This car is good but I bet that T/A would have been better" , or something like that . But sell it to a person so you dont have to see it anymore. Nothing worse than to sell a car and see somebody just let it go to waste. IMO
