Is it too late to pretend I've been a heat fan since forever?

Nope. I had no idea Heat even had enough to pay the three of them.
Seems to me theres too many big ego's on one team IMO. They probably won't do well.

I think they're the favorites, if all three stars stay healthy. The Celtics should have let Pierce and Allen go and used that money on LeBron, despite what the indecisive process says about him. At least they didn't sign the old O'Neal

They won't win it this upcoming year. They have a complete zero of a team after the 3 right now. They may make it to the Finals this year against the Lakers, the Lakers win it, but the torch will be passed to Miami. That trio will win multiple titles. They just need a supporting cast and time to gel as a team.

WOW, just read this and all I can say is, WOW.
What does this guy think James owes him or the city? Its a business and James made a decision that he thought was best for him. No one is responsible for James other than James.
Oh, and the Cav's winning a title before James is laughable at best. This guy has no footing in reality.

This team will be a powerhouse, but its way too early to be talking about them winning a title when the current Laker team has what 5? THEY don't even know how they mesh together yet. I do like the deal though. Makes the NBA much more exciting then if Lebron were to go to a loser team like the Knicks or stay in Cleveland.

Sour grapes from a guy that just lost the big name. What did the Cavs do when he was on the team? They couldn't seal the deal. Nobody wants to go play there, they aren't winning dick for the next 10 yrs now. They are now a 20 win team lol I dont get how Lebron going to a team that can be a contender for the same money is a "betrayal" its business, and clearly Dan Gilbert sucked at it, otherwise Lebron would still be in cleveland.

I agree james gave Cleveland 7 years and who did the franchise give him to help win a title? A washed up Shaq, who missed half the season,Mo Williams who was asleep during the playoffs.Cleveland fans I understand all the disappointment with your sports team over the years, but James wants to win a championship, can't blame him for going to Miami.

The only difference I see is if LBJ chokes in the playoffs now, no one will notice as much because Wade and Bosch will take the attention away from it. Let's face it, LBJ has choked in the post season every year. He shuts down and gives up. Was he carrying the team - I don't know, maybe. But they were the team with the most wins in the NBA - I don't think it was just LBJ doing it alone. If he was so adamant about getting a ring - he could have done it in Cleveland.

Agreed.
Bosh and Wade would have likely been enough if they got in a decent supporting cast.
I am not sure how to feel about James though. On one hand, it didn't do the easy thing (stay at home). On the other, this circus with the statement (last night presser) was a joke.
I did enjoy the Cavs owner ripping him in that statement last night though.
