headshavers..
Who takes a razor to their grape here? I just started and used the headblade...badass little thing for sure. I went against the grain and yea not sure that was so bright being my first time. What kind of lube and lotion do you use?

I use a Gillette Fusion razor with Barbasol shaving cream. Works fine for me. I shave normally and against the grain. If I get a cut, oh well. Comes with the territory.

before shaving ANYTHING take a hot shower or bath, and use straight arrow mane n tail conditioner. Yes it is for horses but hairstylist discovered horses and humans have the same PH and that it works better than most expensive hair care products. The conditioner will soften the follicles and help lube your head, face ,or whatever. After shaving start water as hot as you can stand it wash up and gradually go with cooler water. the hot water will open the pores, and wash out any oil or whatever. As you uses cooler water it closes the pores keeping stuff out. After shaving use a damn good balm to keep the irritation to a minimum, something non greasy or clogging.
Also the shampoo works great for those of us with dirty jobs, cleans anything out.The conditioner you can leave in as well, that way it blocks the filth out. It also helps your hair and finger nails grow more(for the ladies or Spaz)
If that stuff makes my course thick head of hair managable and soft it will work on anybody lol.

Not bashing spaz, just saying since spaz likes having long hair that stuff works great. Plus it helps reduce split ends when you leave the conditioner in for the day.

Same for me. I use Gillette Fuzion razor and whatever brand on sale gel shave cream. I've been shaving my head for many years now and am just used to using a standard razor. Seen all the gimmick "head shavers". No interest for me.
Here's a pic of what I might look like:
