Headphone Question for the audio people
I'm lookin for a good pair of headphones but I have a question about one of the techincal specs that are often listed. Most of the ones I'm looking at advertise thier driver size... the drivers just the magnet right? So will a larger driver size yield better base or louder music, or does it really not matter? I've seen them advertised from 9mm to 30mm in the models I'm considering. Is there a set size that you can tell the headphones are going to be a joke?

At least in car audio, the driver size is the actual size of the speaker, but generally measured in inches. Such as 10" subwoofer, 6 1/2", 5 1/4" etc.

Correct on the above, also with headphones pay attention to frequency response as well. See what the frequency sweep is of the phones.
