Yup, 6 speed also. I was very impressed with the car. Pulled real good and the shifter felt great also. Very comfortable and minimal blind spots.

I was at the track in late 2011 and the track owner threw me the keys to one. The car had subframe connectors, exhaust, slicks and a tune at the time. He told me to dump the clutch at 5k... but I wasn't about to tear up someone else's new car. I made a pass in the car and all I can say is that I was duly impressed. The car was running high 11's that day, although my pass was somewhere in the mid-12's. I saw the car again last year after some more mods and believe he is now running mid to low-11's. This is the car:

Yes. Pulls real hard in the mid range and third gear is pure sex. I thought the shifter was rubbery personally

I really like the 13up with the blacked out lights and all. Drive great
Almost traded my vette in on one. God intervened and stopped the deal which I'm now thankful for. Amazing how all our local car meets are 60pct new mustangs. Got the teens in their 20k v6parked next to the xxk gt500's

I've also heard about the transmission problems. Test drove one a couple weeks back, seemed to drive nice.

For a car that they say can handle well I though the suspension was pretty soft and didn't have the best feedback. Other than that it drove nice. It has been compared to the m3 in some cases and I have to say there is no comparison, the m3 is a better drives car.... other than the fact that the m3 is twice the price.

I've driven 2 of them. Auto and a 6spd. Power was good, and felt pretty raw. Great torque. Brakes and suspension were rubbish. Don't feel comfortable at all around corners.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
I agree.
I rented a 5.0 when I was on a business trip last year to Texas. It was an auto. It pulled real hard up to the 6800 rpm redline in 1st thru 4th (didn't want to go any faster as I was well over the speed limit). The brakes and suspension would require some upgrades to equal the engine though.

buddy of mine at work has one...I drove it when it just had suspension and a tune and I drove it again after he did bolt one's and cams. Car pulls VERY well. Only downside is that they have huge brake issues that ford is refusing to do a recall on "to the point that they literally fail" and they insulated the car so well that you cannot hear any engine noise unless you have the windows down. In fact, they ran a tube from the engine bay to the cab of the car through the firewall to inject sound.

So, for less than $500 to upgrade all (4) rotors and pads, along with some upgraded brake lines, the car would be stout?

Not saying anyone's right or wrong but this car has had rave reviews for both handling and braking and both seemed great to me. You guys really thought it was bad? How many of you have full suspension on your fbodies?
