True. Several other restaurants are doing similar things as well. I can't make it to any of them today, but I will certainly remember them when it comes time to go out for a meal.

I enjoyed lunch at applebee's with a long island ice tea and chili's for dinner with a blue moon.

Nothing spectacular happened today, but it was a great day to be alive. Very thankful for everything. I love this day. Thx to all.

    Sadly now demodded :(

I'd like to say "Thank You" to all those who now appreciate what military service entails.

Back in the day after I completed my military service (70's) I remember being called a "baby killer" more than once... Believe me it hurt...

These days, OTOH, I get free drinks and food on Veterans Day.

From one veteran to all other veterans, Thank You for the freedom you provide us.

I could never get the "baby killer" part myself. What does it matter if the enemy is 80 years old or 10 years old. You have one choice when the loaded gun is pointed at you. Kill or be killed. You never heard them say "grandpa killer".

Good point. Another thing that isn't considered very often is the personal responsibility that is carried around after the action is over. Always wondering if the death could have been avoided, even when you know it likely was kill or be killed.
