Halo 4: Forward Until Dawn

Has anyone seen this mini series? It's pretty good...a lot better than I was expecting anyway. With all of these same old remakes of superhero movies out there you'd think they'd want to bust the Halo universe wide open with a big budget flick. But nooo they want to redo the same ol' crap over and over. Anywho, it's a five part series and worth the watch. Dunno if part five is on youtube yet but the other four are or you can watch the putlocker version that has all of them together. It takes place during the first contact with the Covenant.

Does it get better?

I tried watching the first one awhile back when they started the series and it was so God-awful I almost didn't buy Halo 4..

Yea man it gets really good once the Covenant attacks. The first 30-40 min is character development and a little boring but it's needed. I dunno a lot about the Halo backstory but I know this mini series takes place 25 years before the first Halo. And for a mini series the effects are pretty good.

Try watching the uncut edition on putlocker...it's all 5 parts together and it plays seamless like a movie.

Im an avid Halo enthuse so of course I liked them. Got a few of the guys in the shop to check them out and they like them also even with them having no background in the Halo Universe.

That's pretty good once it gets rolling.

I SOOOOO want a Warthog after seeing that, even though they only let it play a bit part. Always did, but after seeing one "in the flesh" its cool factor really smacks any other military vehicle.

Just curious as to whether they built one or did it with CGI.

Edit: Found that they built a real one based on the Nissan Patrol for the Halo movie that never got made.
