Almost done setting up but here is a few pics.....



Remember this girl....turns out she's much bigger than I thought....



They are a little dark but once everything is up I'll break out the real camera instead of my phone.

This is Paul....he's single and looking for a fun date....hard to see but it says "Kissing Booth"

He meets our mail lady. She loves it....



Saturday we met a fellow home decorator and she taught us how to make these "ghost" and gave us a mannequin to shape the bodies. It's made with Saranwrap and clear packing tape, toss in some blue lights....


My son has been begging for this idea for 3 yrs now and I finally made it.

Here's another new addition....they will be sitting on a bench listening to the witch tell scary human stories...





This is from the lady that helped us with our ghosts....she does some impressive stuff.

Yep. this yr kids are going to earn their treat. I refuse to give any to kids over 4 unless they come to me. >5 I understand.....

Also I plan on have a cup cake tied and hanging from the mouth as bait.

On the drive way it will have in chalk "The cake is a lie"......

Wiley - I do this every yr since I bought this house. Just something I enjoy doing. We change it up, add stuff, remove some things over the years. The big spider was made by a neighbor that is moving and couldn't take it with her. She wanted it to go to someone that would put it to good use and she came over last weekend and gave her approval. Her house doesn't have the same height as mine so she couldn't do it like mine.

My wife is making some other stuff still. Hopefully she's done today. It's little things but add to the scene.

On Halloween there will be fog machines going and black lights as well.

KR - I want one but it's not easy thing to place in the setup. I have a decline that effects everything. May get one anyways....

You just gave me an idea, I can have the candy bowl sit in front of the spider and as they come up, pop it on them. yeah I see this working.....


Jeff - at this point it's not much work. It takes us a week to figure out how to change it up and make it look different from the yr prior.


Only thing left to do is figure out how to set up this projector so it doesn't look so obvious in order to play a couple of DVD's we got from Spirit.


I'm going to also setup the GoPro and see how much I can record.

No, but on the night a lot of ppl want to take pics with some of the props and that can lead to some issues. We try to accommodate but with some limits.

They are some of my biggest fans..... I've had ppl tell me they heard about us from others attending their church. We don't do anything demonic, my wife keeps me in check on how ghoulish and grim we can get.

If I did something like that I have a feeling I'd go over board and get pretty grim, obviously not demonic or anything but it would be over board...not sure if my wife would encourage it or slap me on the wrist
