Looks like fun! Well mostly fun and games until po-po shows up.

Missy and I are riding the tail of the dragon this year. Getting new tires and some maintenance done this month. We are heading down to TN this month, but at the last minute my kid sister wants to with us so have to take the Buick Super for the room.

We are planning a fall run anyway, but we thought we could at least head over to the mountains for a day cruise. Looks like Memphis would make a good day trip in May. We just hope no flooding and heavy rains this year. Seems like every May in TN gets hit with heavy rains and flooding.

We usually go over there 4-5 times a year when its warm. Usually the cops arent that bad but then again, we never really have like 30 extremely loud cars all bunched together either...they could hear us coming from the other side of the mountain lol

Memphis is a cool place to go, but its kind of a one trick pony...they have BBQ and the blues spots and that's about it. I would honestly recommend going to Nashville over Memphis and I'm not just saying it because I live here. Its a WAY better place to visit imo. Much more tourist friendly than Memphis is.

Nashville use to be one of the places we loved to go to, but alas it has changed too much for us. Memphis is still Memphis, great food, fantastic music and fits more of what we like to do. Kinda like New Orleans, except a whole bunch smaller.

We still stop by Nashville once in a while as it is closer to the farm, but it has lost its charm for us. Now in the 70's Nashville was, as they use to say, " the cats ass"! Boy was Nashville the place to be. Lots of good memories for sure.

Looks like it was mostly a good time. The po po kinda jacks up the good time. I cant wait for the weather to finally be decent to go to more car shows and gatherings! Last weekend was kinda of a teaser, cause it was pretty decent.

So you know the area? I didn't know you were familiar with it lol yea, Memphis is definitely more of a New Orleans type place for sure. Hard to beat the food...I thought you were going to do the tourist thing so forget everything I said haha

It's been raining through the week and sunny during the weekend so I can't complain. If it's going to rain, the best time for it to happen is while I'm at work lol got another show this weekend actually.
