Had an excellent suggestion

in the tech section to build a list of mods for specific purposes. In other words....best mods for a F BODY for a street beast/1/4 miler/AutoX....then the same thing for a Vette...then a GTO.....so it would look like this....

GTO A4
Street Beast
LT Headers
Intake
Cam
Heads
etc.etc. cam grind/stall..
name the manufacturer etc.
Then of course the same list for a M6.........
I realize it is a job.....but I think a very good "sticky" once we all shake it out and get a consensus......the reason I post it in the AAG is simple...we have experts in engines/transmissions/chassis/suspension/Power adders/Tune... and most of them come here from time to time.....
Stick with your area of expertise......maybe have a thread in each area in the tech section stickied so folks can add/discuss/build the list for each of the gen cars etc. I'm totally open....but think this exercise will benefit many in the future when complete and make LS1.Com a better place for tech advise and discussion. We wont knock this out quick I assure you.....what are you guys suggestions for getting this project off the ground?

wellll....i dont' think it'll work. First off, newbs and everyone will still post "what should i do?" threads. Secondly, one person's setup might work equally or greater than some one else's different set up. Just look at the suspension/handling section alone...so many of the sam strano-ites will only recomend his way of doing things, where others, like mrr23 have figured a lot out on their own...

really great idea in theory-it would be killer to have the end-all "build list" for each application...

not a bad idea... but...results will be different for each car even with the same set up... one car may run 12's one may run 11's...

This could be use as a basis and nothing set in stone. Results may vary from vehicle to vehicle just like every other performance mod list when you purchase it. It would give an idea of stuff one could look at to get going in the right direction.
