I have no heart and I have no kids......

j/k. While I have no kids I do contribute to several charities: Make-A-Wish, Breast Cancer Awareness (my mom passed away from this) & Disabled American veterans among them.

Well last year my cousin and I started this. We go to the shelters and the food banks and find families that need help. We also asked this year for the enquirer to helo us out but we haven't heard anything yet. On Decemeber 15 we mail out all the packages we have made so that the families get them close to Christmas. This year we posted an add on craigslist to get to more families that might be ashamed to go to the food bank or shelters. I have already gotten a tremondous response already. Here is an example or a message:

    5 people in household

    1. Myself Stephanie 34yrs in need of any household items towels, wash clothes, pots pans and bakeware but really only wanting my kids to have things for xmas
    2. My fiance Mike 43 yrs old currently disabled and in process of reapplying for social security after being denied first time. He don't really want anything he wears size 30 in pants and 8 in shoes his shirt size is xlg needs are socks and boxers in size lg
    3. My son Dakotah 13 yrs old loves football and baseball. likes to read, also likes video games for xbox 360 or playstation 2 or board games too. He also likes world of war craft a pc game, he likes yu-gi oh gift tins card sets. He likes music currently plays drums for school band. He wears size xlg in mens shirts and a 38 in pants and his shoe size is 9 in mens. He is in need of sweat pants size large. And boxers size xlg
    4. daughter Jaden 3 yrs old likes anything w/ disney princesses and baby dolls also loves hair accesories she wears size 4 in pants and 3 in shirts.
    5. daughter Kylee 5 mos old needs any used baby swing and blankets, baby towels and wash clothes anything for a baby her age in toys she is in size 6 months in clothing she doesn't need shoes since not walking yet.

The "poor" in this country have a higher standard of living than most of the middle class in the majority of 3rd world countries.

They'd have to show proof of having a JOB before i'd send shit. It wouldn't matter which job, just something to show they're at least trying. I bet most of those people are on welfare and just looking for another handout...they already get enough from me.

I appreciate your generous intentions, but after O'Reilly exposed the charity industry, I only donate to local organizations.

No shit dude...A 360 AND a PS2? Doesn't sound like there doing to bad. Especially in the food department cause a 13 y/o wearing 38 pants? Looks like he needs to lay off the WOW and 360...

I think what your doing is VERY nice of you and all, but you really need to be careful who you send stuff to.

Jesus fucking christ. Maybe if they let off a bit on feeding sasquatch, they wouldn't be so poor.

Also, anyone who has an Xbox 360 isn't poor, instead perhaps just in dire need of a financial advisor.

Damn right. Not to mention she said something about WOW...World of Warcraft is like $15 a month. If your poor, your not gonna pay every month for your kid to play a damn video game...

yeah not for nothing but somehing like an xbox is a luxury that parents give their kids to make them happy etc. But if you claim you are poor enough that you cant give your kids a nice xmas, you got other concerns besides a video game system. + a 13 yr old already rockin a 38 waist is inhaling food at a rapid rate. A bunch of moochers are taking advantage of your good deeds Taylor.
