Guy builds a Countach..in his basement

He built the car in his basement, knowing that one day he would need to extract the car from his house. It was, until last week, a ship in a bottle.

wow! Thats awesome! The car looks great and im sure it performs as good if not better than a real Countach. Ive seen one in person and they are seriously only about 3 1/2 feet tall! I would love to have one.

hmm... probably cost just as much to buy one... i can get one for 33k or so... but none the less very impressive...

because cars cost so fuckin much more here people are getting pissed off and building the shit themselves? hahaha

Ex. Sticker price on a new Z06 in Canada is about 108k. A new Escalade stickers for about 92k

Low mileage 4th gen Fbodys still being listed for 28-35k

here, ive only seen them for around 100k for cheap ones, the engine rebuild alone (which they all need) is around 40,000.Now the kit cars you can pick up for 33k, its that what you were referring to?

pick up a dupont registry magazine... you'll find them any where from 20k - 80k depending on the mileage... and that is for a legit, real lambo... hell... for 80 - 100k you can get a diablo with higher mileage...

If you had the money he could probably build you two of them. That guy is definately talented. I wonder how much he spent on materials and parts. The time investment was insane I'd imagine.
