    Guitar people help please

I'm looking for a decent first electric guitar to start messing with... what do you think of this package?

That looks good man, I have one of the sets too, where the amp came with the guitar. Mine was by Crate, but I don't think they're around anymore. Ibanez is a great brand, and the reviews on that package look great as well.

yeah the guitar center package is a nice setup for a beginner that doesnt know what they like in sound, tone or feel of a guitar.

Its a great way to practice a few nots, songs and develop a feel for what you make like.

also what kind of music do you play?

I'm partial to Ibanez since I've been playing them since the 1980's. I have a Black JEM 777, Ovation 6 string, Kaman GTX and a Kramer. My first guitar was an Ibanez SB70TV which I paid $480.00 for. Wish I still had it because they are rare now. As far as the kits go they are priced right for a beginner but most of the time the bodies are made out of plywood and have a great paintjob to hide it. I would definitely recommend Ibanez over the Jackson biginner kits.

its a pretty good deal... Most people start out with just a acoustic.. You dont have to plug in ... And if you make a mistake , like you will, it shows .. Lota of good acoustic/electrics out there ...

I had my acoustic a few years before I got my electric guitar. I actually like the acoustic better, I play it much more than the electric. Its harder to make something sound good on an acoustic than an electric.

I think the hardest thing to learn is to go from one Major chord to another without messing anything up.. after your hands know how to do that the rest is just memorization ....
