guitar lesson vid from my old guitar teacher

dave shankle used to play for manowar, he is an insane guitarist and taught me alot. heres a little for video for you guys!

I took lessons from him for about 4yrs!

yes Manowar still holds the decible record.

yeah dave is fairly short and full of donuts. but the dude can play his ass off.

there are two vids on his website from his band, one is NWS.... LOL

have you seen or heard any of daves solo stuff
there are two music vids, one that is nws

the singer in the vid sings in a higher range and they are very dream theater like. However the singer went back to book writing so dave recruited a new singer that sounds dirty more like black lawless or brian johnson....

You can tell he is a very good player .. I am more of a chud-chud -chud man myself ...
I noticed in his vid he is showing things like someone already know how to play .... I wonder if he goes all the way back to basics in his teaching series ...???

i dont like that kind of guitar too fast and you gotta have crack hands to play it, idk it all just blends together and thats what i dont like

he's fast. I've worked and worked on my speed over the years but there's no way I could ever be near as fast as that. My picking hand slows me down. I've just never "got it" as far as my pick speed goes.
