Anyone know much about them? I'm thinking about getting one.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
LS-4 V8. 305HP. Nice cars. But ya can't rotate the tires as the front wheels are wider than the rear. But that is minor. I was looking at them online before I got my GTO.

Very nice daily driver. I have a 2006 Grand Prix SE. Fully loaded and love it for a DD. You can probably pick up a used GXP for cheap thes days.

yeah i read something about that. i'm sure i could get different rims to make the all the same size?
how reliable is the ls4? if i didn't require a 4dr car, i'd jump all over a gto or t/a. i wish the g8's weren't out of my price range. i've seen gp gxp's on autotrader in my area for ~$15k with under 50k miles

I haven't heard any negatives about the LS4. Torque monster I have heard. Sound bad@$$ with a catback.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
they did the GP name a great thing by giving the last run a V8!!!! The noses look funny though, b/c the grills are so small compared to the more recent Pontiac facias

The Impala SS is pretty cheap, I recently saw one $10,000. Front bumper neede to be repainted. 07, I think, 50,000 miles.

Looks like the Impy and GXP are both coming down on price. Just looked on eBay. Not too shabby.

My dad had a newer Impala for a couple of years, but just traded for an SRX. I didn't really like the Impala for some reason.
Plus, the GP has a V8, so that's a plus. I miss having torque!! (coming from a Dakota R/T with 345 ft/lbs, lol)
My guess is the price of the GP's are coming down due to Pontiac being shut down.

I think 06 was the first year with the LS4 for the Impy and GXP. I could be wrong.

Yep, total crap though, would not pay over $15,000. I say it's worth that or under, because it's still fairly new and it's a sporty sedan... But I hated the 07 Impala SS we had, we had it for 10 months before we just had to get rid of it... Parents bought it in 08 with 10,000 miles for $18,500 out the door.
