    Grand Canyon Skywalk

    This looks nuts.

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/TRAVEL/03/21....ap/index.html

"It felt wonderful; not exactly like floating on air," said former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who once traipsed the surface of the moon and on Tuesday became one of the first to stroll onto the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a massive glass-bottom observation deck perched 4,000 feet above the canyon's floor.

Tour packages with deck access will range in price from $49.95 to $199. The deck, which juts 70 feet beyond the canyon's edge, will accommodate up to 120 guests at a time and offer a bone-chilling vantage point more than twice as high as the world's tallest buildings.

The local news has been whoring this for a few days now. It looks mildly interesting. Not something I'd pay $ 50 - 200 to do, though.

I've taken some of those helicopter flight tour things before (not at the canyon-other places) and i don't think i ever paid more than 20 bucks for that. I'll be damned if i am going to spend 50 bucks to stand on something. It might be worth it if they get some 20 something year old native american chick in full dress giving out blowjobs. I would possibly pay it then.

I'm thinking it's more like, someone may have to paypal me $ 50 - 200 to get me to take a couple of steps on that uturn of death.

Shoot, I probably wouldn't do it even if eddierox paypalled me $ 1000.

Ha ha! $ 1000 will only get me out there a few steps before I cower back to solid ground.

From the pics I've seen it's suicide-proof. Completely enclosed.

I went to the grand canyon a few years back, but I would never pay that much just to do the walk out thing, all that money goes to firewater anyway, being owned by native americans.

getting close to 1,000 posts WOOOOOOOOO!

I can peer over the railing and look down for free, and not be scared of heights doing it.
