Im sitting here watching this movie and I have to say as soon as it comes out in theatres me and my dad are going to go. I have to say its the best movie Eastwood has been in. Ive always been a fan of his movies, especially Kellys Heroes.

Go watch it.. when it comes out

I am very interested in seeing it as well and a huge Eastwood fan. I have no doubts this is going to be one of his better movies, not sure I would go as far to say its his best though. That would be saying a lot.

The ending sucked...other than that it was good. Seven pounds is good too...but predictable.

Saw it...very good movie. If you liked unforgiven you'll like Gran Torino. I actually liked the ending because it suprised me and made me think.

Pretty okay flick, other then then the shotty acting from the extra's and oddball characters. Ending caught me off guard as well.

So let me guess:

Old bad ass man lives in a neighborhood that's slowly gone downhill because of gangs/drugs/whatever. He's one of the last remaining people there. He meticulously maintains his house/car/lawn. Streetpunks try and move in on him. He says "NO FUCK YOU MOTHERFUCKERS MAKE MY DAY!!!" and starts killing them as they move in on him. Cops won't help him, and they're completely BAFFLED, BAFFLED I TELL YOU about who is doing the murdering of the streetthugs. Surely it can't be the mean old sumbitch living in the little house with the perfect paint and lawn and well waxed car. He dies after they zerg rush him.

The end.

Sound about right?
