Found this App/Game called "Drag Racing" (Has a picture of a Black Supra and 5 star rating while being free. Well its the best drag racing game to date on these smartphones IMHO! You actually hear BOV's and Turbos and such. Its quite difficult too which adds to the challenge. Highly recommended, I give it 5 stars. compared to whats out there. Give it a try and report back! You even get to do you're own shifting and has a 1/4 plus 1/2 race option.

My phone is smarter than I am so I will ask. What the hell are you supposed to do with those funky boxes that are popping up in magazine ads now? It says to scan it with your smart phone, but I have no idea how. Is that only for icrap, or do Droids have the capability?

Androids and Icrap have an app called "Bar Code Scanner" that scans stuff and gives you the best price. Don't know if thats what you are talking about I don't read magazines much anymore

I'll have to look and see if that's it. The boxes in the magazine ads are not anything like a bar code. They look more like a screen shot from an early Atari game -- a bunch of small blocks all jumbled together.

Try this game out, I just bought a Callaway C6 that moves out pretty good. Running the 1/4 at a 10.9 With very very light mods!

If I may, What you are referring to is called a QR scanner. (Quick response) The seem to be popping up all over car mags now. Theory is you scan it into your phone and then it basically shows you the viewer a pic or a short video. Kinda cool. I have a I-phone and it works quite well. I'm sure all of the other smartphones out there should be able to download this app.

Try it and report back! Some KEY pointers though:

Test drive all the cars before you buy, win or lose on the test drive you get money.

Keep doing that til you have enough for the Supra! It is a beast for how early you can get it.

Next you do the following:

Stay away from Mods right away (They will put you in a higher class and make racing near impossible)

Go right for Race Online and Driver vs Driver (Exact same car, all skill level)

That will get you on the right track. Make sure you Test Drive all the cars til you can get the SUpra, it will help you greatly

After getting higher up since I originally posted and restarting my game and using that formula posted above.........I give this game 2.5/5 stars! Still really the only drag racing game offered for phones but needs some tweaking. Gets really frustrating to get a "Perfect" launch and get all "Perfect" shifts when you are racing a identical car and lose by astronomical proportions

I still recommend the download because it still can be fun. Just hoping the maker tweaks it with updates in the future because this game has POTENTIAL!!

I down loaded pictures from my droid to my computer and got a virus on my comp. Got through my anti virus program and cost me $80 to have it removed.

Anyone know of a good anti virus app?

I have the Supra all the way to Level 3 but it won't take out the bosses battle. Running a 10.949 @ 144 mph

That is fully maxed of course. I'm just doing online battles til I can purchase something better then the Vette/Lambo.

I maxed out the supra and then sold it for a Porsche 911 and then started modding that and almost maxed it out when I realized I was never gonna get nowhere with it cause the M3 kept smoking me and was nowhere near the boss cause I got to level 5 and the boss has a Lambo running a 9.3 so then I sold the Porsche and I couldn't resist buying the Vette, so I bought it and now with a level one on every upgrade (no nitrous yet) its running a 10.3 so a few more races and mods and that Lambo boss will kiss my rear end... Hooked on this fucking little game!
