got a nice gash in the leg Saturday

Was riding on a kawasaki mule Saturday with a buddy and he rolled it. Landed on my leg so I got a trip to the ER out of it.

worse stitch job I've ever seen....wife was fairly pissed off when I got home today

Let me now post the real story behind those pics:

So I was vacuuming the house, and everything was going great, until booooom!!!! I ran over my favorite stuffed animal in the living room, and the drive belt exploded through the side of the vacuum cleaner, gashing my leg open quite badly

On a serious note, that looks nasty, but glad you got it taken care of. Zaino to reduce the scarring?

    Drat.

Saw the title and that Orion had cut his leg.

    Saw only 2 replies.

Planned to swoop in and comment on dangers of vacuuming.

    Too late to the punch

Maybe it wasn't vacuuming. Maybe the dishwasher was overloaded and it exploded and a dish came through the door and got the leg?

    Joking aside, glad you're OK.

That gash looks like it could have easily snapped your leg like a twig.

Looks like you got a blind doctor to do the stitching. Glad you're alright, could have been a lot worse. Going to make for an interesting scar...hopefully it wont always look like an abused female reproductive organ...

haha.....that's the first thing I told the doctor when he finished. It's sore as a bitch today. I'm going to my family doctor today to have him look it over and go get an x ray. It doesn't feel broken but I want to make sure and my gut tells me it's probably a slight fracture.

he was a new doctor......been there less than a year. Gotta start somewhere I guess. I'm not that worried about it really but my wife (she's an RN) is a little pissed off about the stitches and stuff they should've done and didn't do. That's the reason I gotta go to our family doctor today. If it were up to me I'd just roll with what I have. I'll go though just to make her happy because when she's happy we're all happy.
Wreck could've been a lot worse. My buddy was just going to fast in the turn. 2 seconds before it happened I told him to slow down because we were gonna roll. Barely got it out of my mouth and I felt his side lift off the ground. Party over. You see those kinda wrecks all the time and you know not to try and brace yourself outside the cage but it's just instinct to stick a leg out to try and catch yourself. The cage landed on it and there's a latch on there for a door that got me.

Fortunately this was well after dinner. Guy up the road is in training to follow in our footsteps so he wanted to cook. He did wings and stuff like that. Decent but not in our league yet. He was the passenger in one of the mules behind us. There were 6 of us altogether. After she went over it took no time for them to get to us & lift it off my leg.

Wonder if it's too late to hit it with a buffer? actually its still sore enough that i'd cry like a little bitch i'm on point with our big ass dog. I figure its only a matter of time until he steps on it or something

Damn that's still an open wound. You should get it restitched before you get maggots or some shit in it.
