Got A New Toy. But It's Not A GM
Not a GM but still way cool (to me anyway)
This oughta pull the camper nicely.
351Windsor and I just put the 35s on it.
Now to re-gear to 4.56

1990
351 Windsor/E4OD/Manual transfer case
4 inch lift Rancho suspension with extended radius arms and in-cab controlled RS9000 shocks (dual front shocks, 6 total)
Toyo Open Country ATs 35x12.50x15 on 15x10 rims
3.55 gears Going to 4.56 soon.
Abysmal gas mileage. Can't wait to see what it is with the 35s
Best of all, Roof is removable
NO rust. Truck is in terrific condition. And I found a receipt in the glovebox where it got a new engine in 2004, so maybe I'll be OK for a while.

My ex husband had a 79 Bronco when we lived in Wrightwood. Had a lift kit. I loved driving that that thing on the mountain roads. it was a blast.

Makes me miss my 1990/91 FS Bronco. That had the 302 in it though with the stock 31's. I got 10mpg no matter where, who or what I was driving. I heard the 351's got better mileage though.

Younger brother had one of those for winter driving.
Was in terrible shape compared to that, but it kept on running!
